Girls With Guns

I'm not gonna lie, when I'm in a rough-and-tumble badass mood, I prefer my fun all business: black S.W.A.T. gear, thigh holster, my coach Bill kicking my ass to keep me in line, and a spot on the firing line straight-up with the boys.  Of course, my introduction to shooting was with a guy friend who must roll in dirt at the sight of pink, and it kinda rubbed off.  (Thanks, Tim.)

That said, there are plenty of girls out there who are fascinated by the power and empowerment of learning to properly handle a firearm, yet who benefit from a more feminine approach to take some of the nerve-wracking mystique out of it.  

Anything that gets more girls shooting is a win in my opinion, so I was thrilled to see that Oak Tree Gun Club offers girl-targeted (pun intended) shooting classes via Girls With Guns Shooting Industries.  Located in Agoura Hills, California and comprised of law-enforcement & LAPD Academy instructors, this all-female team could be a great option for badass-chicks-in-training.  And yes, boys, there are more of us than you think.  :)
